Experience Through Day 1

Our first day was pretty fun. It was fun for many reasons but one was because we were able to go on the airplane again. Randy's was also kind of sad that he was not able to sit with my friends and not be able to see the reaction from Karla. Although, Salena got to sit with her friends and a stranger that knew a lot about Seattle because he was from there. After the plane ride we got on ab us that took us to a Duck Tour. The Duck Tour is a bus where you take a tour in a bus that turns into a boat. The Duck Tour was fun because we were in a bus that turned into a boat also, the tour lady had a great sense of humor which made us laugh. We kinda broke down in the middle of the water, but we were able to come to go back on land and then we got picked up by another bus. We finished the tour and we went into the bus that took us to the Ferry ride. Being on the Ferry ride was fun because we have never been on a ferry, and also the island looked beautiful. When we got Friday Harbor we went to our rooms and settled in. After settling in some students including me, Salena went to the grocery store then cooked dinner at the American Legion. The students that didn't cook dinner today, which is Randy did some work in our binders then we all ate. Overall, the day was great and we cant wait for whats yet to come throughout the week!!
